This site (porsia.pthunder.com) is the personal artist website of Porsia Camille. This policy explains what information the site collects when you visit, how it is used, and the rights you have, with specific detail for California residents. Last updated May 24, 2026.
Information we collect
Email address (only if you give it). If you sign up for the mailing list, we collect the email address you enter. Nothing else is required.
Contact you send us. If you email one of the addresses on the Contact or Press pages, we receive whatever you choose to send.
Standard server logs. Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic technical information for each request: your IP address, browser type (user agent), the page requested, and a timestamp. These logs are used only to operate and secure the site and are not used to build a profile of you.
Third-party embeds. Some pages embed players and widgets hosted by other companies. When one of these loads, that company may set its own cookies or receive your IP address and browsing information directly, governed by their privacy policies, not this one. We use:
- Vimeo for video (on the Video page). Our Vimeo players are set with Do Not Track enabled, which asks Vimeo not to track you for that embed. See Vimeo's privacy policy.
- Spotify and Apple Music for streaming players (on the Music page). See Spotify and Apple.
- Bandsintown for the live-dates widget (on the Shows page). See Bandsintown's privacy policy.
- Buttondown for mailing-list management. When you subscribe, your email address is stored with Buttondown as our email service provider. See Buttondown's privacy policy.
How we use information
- To send you the mailing-list emails you asked for (new releases, shows, occasional notes). You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the website.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. The third-party embeds listed above may set their own cookies when their content loads on a page. If you would prefer those not to load, most browsers let you block third-party cookies, and browser extensions can block third-party embeds. Blocking them will stop the related players or widgets from working but will not otherwise affect the site.
Your choices
- Mailing list: unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email we send, or email us and we will remove you.
- Do Not Sell or Share: we do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you would still like written confirmation, email us at the address below.
- Do Not Track: our video embeds are configured to honor Do Not Track. The site itself sets no tracking to respond to.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used.
- Access a copy of that information.
- Delete the personal information we hold about you (for example, removing you from the mailing list).
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@porsiacamille.com with your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, which we will do using the email address associated with your information.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. The mailing list is intended for people 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep mailing-list email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for operations and security. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
